1. Agreeing to these terms
By visiting cleanerforyourmac.com (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If any part doesn't work for you, please don't use the Site.
2. Permitted use
You're welcome to use the Site for your own personal reference. Please don't attempt to disrupt it, access it with automated tools at a scale that strains our servers, or use it for anything unlawful.
3. Guidance, not guarantees
Our chapters are general educational guidance. We test our steps on current macOS, but software evolves and no two setups are identical. You're responsible for what you do on your own device, so please back up your Mac — for example with Time Machine — before making changes.
A backup takes a few minutes and turns almost any misstep into something you can simply undo. We recommend one before you begin any chapter.
4. Ownership of content
The words, layout, and original graphics on the Site belong to Cleaner for Mac and are protected by law. You may link to our pages and quote short excerpts with credit, but please don't republish substantial portions without permission. Apple, Mac, MacBook, and macOS are trademarks of Apple Inc.; Cleaner for Mac is independent and unaffiliated with Apple Inc.
5. External links
We sometimes link to other websites for convenience. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or practices.
6. Provided "as is"
The Site and its content are offered on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We don't promise the Site will be uninterrupted or that any chapter will produce a specific result on your device.
7. Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Cleaner for Mac and its contributors won't be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the Site or reliance on its content. Nothing here removes liability that can't be removed under applicable law.
8. Revisions
We may update these terms from time to time; the "Effective" date shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the Site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of our place of operation, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute will be handled by the courts with competent jurisdiction there unless local consumer law says otherwise.
